Virgin opens its first fitness village for the city

The swimming pool

After months of waiting, this weekend Palermo will have the opportunity to discover the new Virgin Active club before the official opening on Monday 28 October. During the open weekend visitors will be able to learn about wellness.

This follows the great take-up of advanced subscriptions launched in August, as well as a series of events organized in September which were held in several iconic places around the city.

Virgin Active Palermo in Via Gioacchino Ventura, 11 will open its doors to everyone who wants to explore the club, learn about the trainers and have a wellness experience based on the Virgin Active approach. Months of waiting and anticipation will be rewarded with an opening that welcomes the whole city.

There are various areas dedicated to training and fitness activities, such as the Gym Floor, Grid, Punch, Revolution Cycle, Yoga, Pilates Reformer, Cross Active and the two stunning swimming pools, one indoors and one open-air.

The other areas of the club will allow you to become familiar with the 4 dimensions of the Fitness Experience according to Virgin Active, i.e. the achievement of balance (soul), resistance, strength, and stability that trainers will offer with practical guidance based on individual members’ preparation, needs analysis and discussion of the final goals they wish to achieve.

The new club will not only be one of the most beautiful fitness villages in Italy; it will also be a true meeting space for socialising with other members and for everyone who cares about their total well-being. In addition to the fitness areas there are also spaces for relaxation as well as the Virgin Active Café.

Virgin Active arrives in Palermo offering members the chance to improve themselves both on a physical and emotional level. Through fitness training and sport, everyone can discover their “elixir of eternal youth”, the ideal combination of well-being, energy, strength and a calm state of mind.
