Senator Tim Scott, who is African-American and from South Carolina, has officially endorsed Donald Trump for president. This endorsement represents a significant setback for fellow Republican candidate Nikki Haley.

Haley had previously brought Scott into prominence during her tenure as governor of the state.

The endorsement took place in New Hampshire, where Scott appeared alongside Trump. Voting for the party primaries will take place here on Tuesday.

Scott, a conservative Christian and influential politician, worked as an insurance agent and financial adviser after graduating from college.

This experience served as a stepping stone toward starting his own insurance agency, Tim Scott Allstate. His professional accomplishments enabled him to purchase a home for his mother. (Redazione)
