The new Snam regasification plant has arrived in Italy from Dubai and is located at the Fincantieri shipyard in Palermo, the most important shipyard in the Mediterranean, where it will undergo technical finishing operations.
The ship, BW Singapore, is expected in Ravenna in February to be connected to the mooring platform, completed in November.
The regasification plant will be the fifth in our country and will allow for an additional 5 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The start of operations is scheduled for early April 2025.
