Temporary Closure of Poste on Via Salvatore Davì, Altofonte

Poste Italiane continues on the path outlined by the Polis project

Poste Italiane announces that the post office in Altofonte, located on via Salvatore Davì, will undergo modernization works starting tomorrow to improve the quality of services and hospitality.

In the coming days and during the renovation period, a temporary facility will be set up in a container located in Piazza Vincenzo Petrigni.

The facility will provide postal and financial services from Monday to Friday, 8:20 AM to 1:35 PM, and on Saturday until 12:35 PM. It will also be equipped with a Postamat ATM operational 24/7.

Until the activation of the temporary facility, and respecting the opening hours of the reference post office, the continuity of all services is guaranteed at the Piana degli Albanesi post office, located on Via Matteotti, operating Monday to Friday from 8:20 AM to 7:05 PM and on Saturday until 12:35 PM.

The office on Via Altofonte is part of Polis – Casa dei Servizi Digitali, Poste Italiane’s project aimed at making access to public administration services simple and fast in municipalities with fewer than 15,000 inhabitants, with the goal of fostering the economic, social, and territorial cohesion of our country and overcoming the digital divide.

The transformation of the spaces at the post office on Via Davì will anticipate the development of innovative activities through the company’s physical-digital channels.

In addition to INPS services for pensioners and civil status and registry certificates (the pension slip, the single certification, and the OBIS M form, as well as ANPR services, are already available), in the future, the Altofonte office will also offer several other Public Administration services.

These include the possibility of applying for passport renewal, self-declarations of loss, reports of possession and transport of weapons, requests for reissuing a tax code, and much more.

Once the renovation work is completed, the post office on Via Davì will once again be available to citizens during its regular operating hours. (Redazione)
