Set to reopen in April 2024, the renowned restaurant La Pergola is known for its exceptional cuisine. Having been awarded 3 Michelin stars, it is poised to return and delight the most refined palates in the world, in one of the most beautiful locations in Rome.

Situated at the Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria, known for its Mediterranean and contemporary cuisine, the restaurant is also famous for its multi-awarded chef, Heinz Beck. He is known for his unique culinary techniques, promising a memorable dining experience.

Born on November 3, 1963, in Friedrichshafen, Germany, Beck moved to Rome in 1994 and has been living under the sky of the Capital. Perhaps not only to appreciate the location of the restaurant, which commands a view of the city and is surrounded by large Mediterranean gardens.

In fact, the hotel is situated on a hilltop position in Monte Mario, providing views of Rome and the Vatican, so that the high quality and sophistication blend with the environment, prestige, historical, and cultural heritage.

In addition to his work at La Pergola, Beck and his wife, Teresa Maltese, who serves as the Ceo, founded ‘Beck and Maltese Consulting’. They manage several restaurants in Italy and abroad. (Sergio Scialabba)
