JPMorgan Chase has downgraded its rating on Poste Italiane – the Italian postal and financial services group – from Overweight to Neutral, signaling a more cautious outlook.
However, the bank has maintained its target price at 20 euros per share, suggesting it still sees moderate upside from current levels.
By keeping the target price unchanged, JPMorgan indicates that it expects Poste Italiane’s stock to potentially reach 20 euros within the next 12 months, despite the downgrade.
This implies a possible gain of around 11 percent from the current market price of 18.03 euros.
The shift to a Neutral stance reflects a more balanced risk-reward view, likely driven by slightly lower earnings expectations, macroeconomic uncertainties, and a lack of strong near-term catalysts.
In other words, while the fundamentals remain solid, the stock may have already priced in much of its recent strength. (Redazione)
