The management of ASL 1 Abruzzo Avezzano-Sulmona-L’Aquila has identified serious and objective irregularities in the performance of Dussmann‘s contractual obligations, as confirmed by the contract execution directors and the Sole Procedure Manager.

As a result, the ASL has decided not to pay millions of euros for services that were not performed and has applied penalties to protect public service and resources.

The ASL emphasizes that its actions are based on legal provisions and the signed contract, and it is committed to safeguarding public interest.

Additionally, the National Anti-Corruption Authority (A.N.A.C.) is conducting extensive investigations into the lack of oversight by public administrations regarding cleaning contracts and has criticized the omissions of one of the most important Italian municipalities. (Redazione)
